Under license 181 issued by the FIMC on January 21, 1992 Venture International Laos Co. Ltd was founded as a 100% foreign owned enterprise located in Vientiane the capital city of Lao PDR. It's owners have accumulated over 80 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry and come from the Netherlands Germany and Thailand.

Venture Laos operates directly with its customers either on a Landed duty paid basis, CIF or FOB basis. The Company also accepts CMT orders. Letters of credit may be opened directly to us via Public Bank Berhad, Vientiane. Our typical lead time from receipt of LC to shipment is 60 days.

As an LDC country Laos enjoys Quota free access to the EU and USA. It also enjoys duty free access to the EU under the ASEAN accumulation scheme and EU derogation arrangement.

Venture Laos has one main plant located on 15,000 square meters of land just 10 minutes from the city centre. The main production floor comprises of 2100 square meters with an additional 2100 square meters available for cutting, embroidery and warehousing of raw materials and finished products. Over 750 persons are employed in the factory and office and key management staff hail from such diverse countries as Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and Sri Lanka.

The company is able to produce a wide variety of garments ranging from children's outerwear to jogging suits and workwear. Currently, in response to the EU quota situation the company produces up to 75,000 casual pants, dress pants and workwear items per month.

Venture Laos works in close co-operation with it's sister company Venture Vietnam in Hanoi, the relative strengths of each company complements each other in such a way that we are able to offer a full complete product range shippable throughout the year regardless of quantative restraints.
